She absolutely loves writing and reading poetry, and shares that "It's such a great way to express yourself." She also plays clarinet and participates in her school's choir program. EMMA SHATTUCK

BRITTANY DAVIS

Picture
Emma spent her summer writing and performing poetry with the Grand Rapids perfomance poetry group called Diatribe.  At 17, she's still gettin' kicked out the crib. Wanna be a trap rapper but can't spit a thing. Writes poems not raps.

The seasons change as do I, so I won't say much abut myself. In math I'm about as confused as a chameleon in a bag of skittles for I excel in writing and music; not math. Benjamin Franklin once said,  "Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing." And oh, the stories I could tell you about everything I've done throughout my life. Between band, choir, theatre, and many family adventures I have lived a thousand great stories worth printing.
